WANTED  volunteers to join the Colour Guard. Those interested contact Tom Thibodeau or Len Dupuis.

Our Branch 261 Colour Guard started in the fall of 1987 under, then Sergeant @ Arms, Mike Glovasky. The Branch was growing weary of relying on other Branch Colour Guards for all our services. With the help of Jim Lillie, Wayne Bratt and Chuck Kingsley, all veteran Colour Guard Commanders and District and Zone Parade Marshals we soon had an admirable Colour Guard. The new Colour Guard started a vigorous campaign to raise monies to outfit the Guard in Highland dress. August of 1989 was the debut of the highland uniform for the Cornfest Parade. At that Cornfest the Colour Guard picked up the name the "Tecumseh Highlanders". All insignia was of the Medical Corp in honour of Col. Paul Poisson our namesake.
The Colour Guard has been on Parades from the London area to southern Ohio and was the lead Colour Guard at the Dearborn Highland Games. Many a good members have been in our ranks, old and young. Under the supervision of our new Commander, Tom Thibodeau, the Colour Guard still marches on.
